Dr. Jha has completed his PhD in Plant Science from University of Delhi in 1996, India and MBA from Colorado State University in 2007. He is Program Coordinator for the multi-disciplinary Limited Irrigation Agribusiness Management Program in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at Colorado State University. His research effort is towards creating Sustainable Colorado agriculture under limited water Agroecosystems. In addition, his professional effort is towards developing linkages with multi-agency for US and International developmental projects. He has worked extensively with Israeli water management and diverse agriculture technology transfer for many developing countries like India, Nepal, Burma and Sri Lanka. He has done consulting projects on agriculture and water development for Uganda, Ghana, Kazakhstan, India, Nepal, Israel, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh with USAID, World Bank, ADB and AfDB. His prime research and outreach interests are focused on sustainable agriculture, agribusiness management, limited water agro-ecosystems, demonstration and technology transfer.
